Mitsubishi Repair: Brake lights, mitsubishi galant, dash lights

My brake lights are not working.  I have changed out the bulbs and brake switch underneath the pedal. I also check the fuse under the hood.  What else could I check?  My dash lights dont work either.  What could this be?  My car is a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant.

It's possible you may have a problem with one of you headlights or the switch on the steering column that controls your lights.  If no lights are coming on at all when you have the headlight switch turned on, and none of your brake lights work even when stepping on the brake pedal, there may be a more serious electrical problem.  Have all the relays under the hood checked as well.  Your next move may be to take the car to your mechanic to have it inspected.
