My 2004 Mitsubishi Diamante is leaking power steering fluid up through the cap (like a soda fizzeling).  My mechanic is puzzled ... any ideas???

This may occur if your power steering fluid is overheating or if there is air in the system.  Overheating could be a caused by a bad pump or cooling line (if so equipped).  If it's just being caused by air in the system, that would just have to be purged.  You may also want to have the seal on the cap checked and replaced if necessary.
