Mitsubishi Repair: idling problem for mitsubishi, crank shaft position sensor, shaft position

1999 pajero gdi, 3500l , automatic, has an idling problem, its,  sometimes cutting off, when it idles its rave count does not exceed  3000rpm, if you rave it wto full throttle the sound goes up and down but does not exceed 3000rpm what could be the problem

This could be caused by a number of issues. You may have bad spark, weak alternator, improper ignition timing, low fuel pressure, or limited air supply.  This could even indicate a bad crank shaft position sensor or even your car's computer may be faulty.  Most of these things should be inspected by by a trained mechanic, as they would be best to diagnosis such a problem.
