Mitsubishi Repair: SRS Light/indicators, srs system, light indicators

Question
Hi i have a 1998 V6 Manual mitsi Galant and the indicators have stopped working and the SRS light stays lit while driving. it was fine until i hired a trailer and plugged it in.(have connected other trailers the day before and was fine.)
what can i do to fix the SRS light....i am guessing that it may b a fuse for the indicators and will check it.

The SRS light will come on when the air bag system detects a problem with in the system.  The SRS system is very sensitive and light will indicate the air bag system may not work properly in the event of an accident.  It may be cause by a bad sensor in bumpers.  Your local dealership would be able to pull the trouble codes from the SRS computer, and help to diagnosis the cause.  The light may just need to be reset.  As for your indicator lights, a faulty trailer plug may have blown a fuse and is the best place to check first.  Also inspect the bulbs themselves.
