Mitsubishi Repair: gushing noise, blower motor resistor, mitsubishi galant

Question
I just had some extensive work done on my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES automatic. First I had to have my heater core replaced because my windows were fogging up with coolant. Then 1000 miles later I had to have a A/C blower motor resistor replaced.
Now shortly afterwards there is a loud "gushing" sound coming from what seems to be under the front right part of the car when I make a left turn. I checked the front passenger side rug and it is wet. Any thoughts?
Thanks alot, Robin

Answer
Robin,
The water that's leaking onto your rub may be caused by the water that condenses on the evaporator.  That water should drain out of the car, but if the drain tube is blocked, that water will accumulate in the heater box (where the A/C evaporator is located) and eventually makes its way inside the car and on the rug.  I'd recommend you have your mechanic clear any blockage so the water can drain properly.
Good luck!
