Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Outlander Check Engine Light, 2003 mitsubishi outlander, mitsubishi outlander

Question
I just had all my oxygen sensor replaced on my 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander, when the check engine light came on.  I had driven my car for two months.  Now the check engine light is back on.  What would cause this?

Answer
Catherine,
There are a number of sensors and components that can cause the check engine light to come on.  If the car feels like it's running fine, then it's probably an emissions sensor that detected a problem.  The only true way to tell what the problem is is to read the trouble codes from the computer.  Most any mechanic can perform this action to retrieve the trouble codes.  Though if you have an AutoZone in your area, they can retrieve those trouble codes for free.  Just tell them your check engine light is on, and they can hook up a computer to your car and get the codes and hopefully tell you what the problem is.
Good luck!
