Mitsubishi Repair: ISC, throttle position sensor, magna ts

Question
Have Magna TS 1994 2.6L EFI. Would not idle. Then it was idling too fast. Now will not idle again. Pulled ISC and tested as per http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/ISC.html Coils all tested OK at around 30ohms. When I apply voltage there is some vibration, but not much movement. Should it move more, or can I assume the ISC is OK. What else could it be?

Answer
Graham,
On that URL you visited, there's a link to another site (http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/tttt/tttt3.html) which explains other things you can check that is related to your problem.  Since that web page show much more details than I can put in this reply, I'll rely on that to guide you.  A faulty ISC is one of the few major components that can cause this problem without tripping the check engine light.  A poor throttle body or throttle position sensor can also cause such problems, so it may be worth to check those items as well.
Good luck!
