Mitsubishi Repair: 02 Eclipse Immobilizer, eclipse gt, eclipse gs

I bought an 02 eclipse gs from the junk yard to try to fix up my 00 eclipse gt with some body parts from it and sorts. the 02 ended up being in better shape than my 00 so i decided to fix it instead. but when i bought the 02, the junk yard guy had lost the key and had no title/records of it. the immobilizer is activated on the 02, is there any other way than the key to deactivate the immobilizer? or do you think i could still take it in to the nearest Mits. dealership, but i dont have a title for it?

If the car is not registered to you, your dealership may not be able to help.  But it can't hurt to call up the service department and see what they can do for you.  You may have luck simply removing the immobilizer.  On some cars, it just a device connected to the key lock cylinder and ties into the starter and ignition wires.  You may be able to find a way to bypass that security, but I've never done that myself.
