Mitsubishi Repair: Rebuild, fuel injected 2, proper tools

I have a 1999 eclipse with a fuel injected 2.0 motor.The timing belt broke so I'm trying to find out how difficult this is and will a rebuild kit cover everything I need to repair it?

There are rebuild kits available from several aftermarket merchants, as well as the dealership.  Though it's a very involved process, especially if you do not have experience in head rebuilds and general engine work.  Having the proper tools and documentation to help you with the repair is also crucial.  There is the possibility that you damaged more than you head when the belt broke.  You may have damaged your pistons as well.  These should be examined once the head is removed.  If you do not feel comfortable doing this job yourself, I recommend having a knowledgeable mechanic do this, or the dealership.
