Mitsubishi Repair: Engine Does not Idle, acclerator, exact problem

Hey.. i have a 2002 Mit Lancer with about 70000 km. i ahd problems recently with the battery so i had to get a jump start a few times. After changing the battery i noticed that the engine was not idiling.Then it started idling very high and does not gather speend although the acclerator is depressed.. any suggestions?

This problem may be a result of poorly firing spark plugs, low fuel supply, bad alternator, clogged air intake, or clogged exhaust.  There are a number of items that can cause this problem, you'll want someone to fully inspect your engine to narrow down the exact problem.  All you car may need is a simply tune-up.
