Mitsubishi Repair: carbon buildup in gdi engines, fuel injection cleaner, combustion chamber

Is there a specific way to prevent carbon buildup in gdi engines? how expensive is it to get this cleaned out if it foes occur? thankyou

Using a premium grade of gasoline and regular usage of fuel injection cleaner can help prevent carbon build-up.  There are a number of combustion chamber cleaners on the market that you can try.  The one I've had the most luck with is Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner (MCCC).  You can look for it online or in your local auto parts store.  If you do the job yourself, it'll only cost you the price of the cleaner.
