Mitsubishi Repair: Heating blowing cold, 2003 mitsubishi galant, mitsubishi galant

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant that blows cold are when the heat is on. If I turn the vent/floor control back and forth, I hear a clicking noise and then it blows hot again.

This is usually caused by the fresh air vent being stuck open and the duct that allows the warm air from the heater core being closed.  It sounds like there a problem with your HVAC control, and you may need to have a mechanic inspect the control and replace it if necessary.
