Mitsubishi Repair: Diamante Auto transmission, auto transmission, transmission oil

light on dash starts blinking, then car rolls to a stop in Drive gear, no movement when any gear selected with shifter,oil is topped up, no noise from auto, just no go, Can you help with an possible explanation

Kieth: I would have the computer coded to see if it might explain what is going on with the transmission, what light is blinking on the dash. Is it the check engine or service engine soon light, maybe? You did not put down a year on this car. The computer controls the transmission in the car. Ok, the oil is topped off but have you ever changed the transmission oil and filter? If you have not done that in a while, I would be doing that. Then the transnmission pan is taken down check it for the metal in the pan. There is always some metal but shouldn't have any large pieces in it. Add some transmission contioner too. I would start with the computer, then change the tranmission fluid and filter, add the transmission conditoner and see where that gets you. God bless: Linda
