Hi there I have a 94 tr magna 2.6lt and it has started to idle really rough and is blowing black smoke which smells like petrol when revved black smoke plumes it drives ok but is heavy on the fuel.les

It sounds as if your oxygen sensor has failed and/or your catalytic converter has failed.  Check the air intake for any restrictions.  Replace the air filter if you haven't done so in the last 72km or 2 years.  Have those items inspected and replaced if necessary.
