Hi Linda,

I have a Mitsubishi galant VRG (1998) and when i turn the steering wheel, a vuum, vuum, sound comes from the air cleaner system. what might be causing this? I often change the cleaner.

Henry: I don't think this sound comes from the air clearner system, I think the belt that runs the power steering pump is slipping or maybe making your noise. I would have it replaced, but also check the power steering pump, have you checked the power steering fluid? It might be low and need some added. But also check that belt that runs the power steering pump too. If you changed the air filter often do you check the belts also? I would be doing that. God bless: Linda
