Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Carisma, good computers, computer one

My car starts, but wont idle. If I rev it goes only up to 4000 rpm only and then stops. I,ve changed the fuel pump and throttle body but no change. it wont drive at all. Please help

Leonard:Did you do a tune up on the car? Have you had the car coded to see what the computer says is the problem? Remember now it takes three things for a car engine to run; air, stark and fuel. I would be doing a tune up but then also with that idea, the computer controls everything in that car. So if the computer is not getting the right readings from its sensors which are all through the engine and transmission. It will not run the car right. So have the computer coded to see if it will show you anything. Then do that tune up, another thing to check is a vaccum leak, it will couse problems with things too. You did not put down the year of this car, so if it is a 99 or older you could have a car with one of the bad computers in it. Mitsubishi farmed out the building of their computers to another company which did not build very good computers. A piece will start to die, and leak all over the inside of the computer and with time it will kill off the computer. One of the things that shows this is a bad or no idle.
