Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi 1994 Galant, throttle position sensor, mitsubishi galant

Question
My 1994 HJ Mitsubishi Galant stumbles on start up after it has cooled down. It does this summer or winter but is much worse in winter. Once it warms up after say 30 seconds it runs and performs well. Also which elect.wires should be disconnected to set the initial timing. Thank you for your kind assistance. - Steven Spiteri (Silverdale NSW Australia).

Answer
Steven,
You may need to have your throttle body, idle speed controller, and EGR valve inspected and cleaned out.  Also have your throttle position sensor checked to be sure it's functioning properly.  The wires I'm familiar with that typically need to be grounded for setting your timing is the ignition timing terminal and you'd need to also ground the car's computer (ECM).  Unfortunately, I do not know where the ignition timing terminal is located on your specific vehicle.
Good luck!
