Mitsubishi Repair: my sunroof and windows., alignment problem, inch gap

Question
Well my first question is about my sunroof. I have been experiencing a leak in my sunroof when it rains and it drips through my sunroof visor and has made my fabric on the visor start to peel off and is getting suined and creesed. I looked at it and it looks like the seal is rusted. is there anyway i can fix this problem myself or do I have to take it to a dealer to get this done. Also my driver side window had problems when i bought it and it didnt roll up on track so i fixed that and it rolls up on track but its almost as if it rolls up too much now and it will roll up so far that when i close my door it sits on top of the trim on my door and doesn't make a seal and there is about a 1/4 inch gap between the window and the body. Im not sure what else to do because I cant get tint untill i fix these problems and i cant get interior work done untill i fix my sunroof. Please email me and help me with my problems.

Answer
Evan,
Repairing a leaky sunroof can be a tricky thing.  And if you don't get it right, you could cause more damage than you already have.  This is definitely a job you should leave up to the professionals.  For your driver side window problem, it sounds like there is an alignment problem.  If the glass is not positioned correctly on the carrier or there is an obstruction on the track, then it will not glide properly in the sill.  This is something else you should leave up to your mechanic.
Good luck!
