Mitsubishi Repair: 1995 GSX tranny, hydraulic clutch, clutch pedal

Question
QUESTION: I have a 1995 GSX pretty much stock... There is a new clutch and master cylinder in the car when i drove it coming off the clutch to get going it felt like the clutch pedal was sticking? if that makes sense..any idea and is it a hydraulic clutch in the 95 gsx?

ANSWER: Jacob: Should be a hydraulic clutch, have your checked the fluid level in where you can add more hydraulic oil if need be? Could be you have air in the lines is the reason the clutch pedal feeling like it is sticking. So check the fluid level the hydraulic level box, or where you put the oil should be in the same area as the brake level box would be up on the fire wall of your car's engine. I would be checking that first. God bless: Linda

QUESTION: My rear break lights wouldn't shut off last night ended up draining the battery!
I don't even know where to begin- any ideas?

Answer
Jacob: I would say the switch is stuck on, could be a bad relay too. Up in the engine department are boxes and in them are larger fuses as well as relays. On the tops of these boxes explains what is in each box, I would check to see if you have a relay for your brake lights. But I would say I think it is the switch that controls that. What you really need to do is get a repair manual for your car, parts stores sell them for around $20.00 well worth the money. In that repair manual is a wiring diagrams which would lead you to where that switch is and how to check it. But if the brake lights are stuck on, you could unhook the neg cable off the battery at night to keep that from being drained. Or pull the fuse for them. As to save that battery. Still you need that wiring diagram to find your way around that wiring. God bless: Linda
