Mitsubishi Repair: Looses Revs, mistsubishi, plug wires

Hi I have an 1996 Mistsubishi Daimantie I have just replaced the battery and have had the alternator checked. The problem now with the car is that the Revs will not hold when I come to a stop and cuts out. Any ideas?

You may just need a tune-up.  This can be caused by worn spark plugs, plug wires, clogged air filter, or clogged fuel filter.  Other things your mechanic should check are your fuel pump and ignition timing.  You may need your pump replaced or your timing belt replaced.
