Mitsubishi Repair: TURBO ECLIPSE RUNNING LIKE CRAP, transmission shifts, sparkplug

OK IAM WORKING ON THIS 98 TURBO ECLIPSE THE KID DROPED A PIECE OF THE SPARKPLUG ELICTRODE DONE THE NO4 HOLE AND STARTED IT UP I GOT IT AND PULLED THE HEAD AND HAD THE MACHINE SHOP GO OVER IT AND CHECK THE VAVLES AND SEATS AND PUT NEW STEM SEALS IN THE HEAD AND I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND THE CAR STARTS UP AND RUNS GOOD FOR ABOUT TEN MINS AND WHILE ITS AT IDLEING IT STARTS MISSING AND RUNNING LIKE CRAP AND THEN IUT SMOOTHS OUT ON ITS OWN I HAVE PUT NEW PLUGS COILS AND WIRES ON IT IT HAS THROWN A P0202 AND P0302 AND IT HAS ONLY TROWN THE CODES ONCE BUT IT STILL RUNS LIKE THAT ALL DAY IT WILL RUN REALLY GOOD THE LIKE CRAP IF U CAN HELP ME PLEASE HELP THANKS JIM

Jim P. If the computer picked up a problem and threw those codes then you need to replace those sensors. Because the car might run good one day but the next those sensors will cause problems so the car runs like crap again. The computer controls everything in that car, everything even how the transmission shifts. So you need to check to see what those codes are and then fix whatever that was. And then I believe that will fix your problem. If you got an a meter for checking the computer see if you can get a read out to what is going on and if not then AutoZone will code the car for free. Another thing to check would be for vaccum leaks, sometimes they will cause you the problems are you having. God bless: Linda
