Mitsubishi Repair: 2004 Mitsu Lancer Ralliart - Frequent Stalling, mitsu lancer, new spark

Question
Hello there. I have a 2004 Lancer Ralliart (manual transmission).

Early last month, my car began stalling out when I come to stops. At the time, I thought it was because I was behind on my tune up and figured my spark plugs were bad. I did a oil change and put in new spark plugs and a new air filter hoping the problem would be fixed. It still stalls out and in fact, I think it's doing it more often. The weird thing is that it only seems to stall while my car is cold. After driving it a bit, the idle is a little bouncy at stops but it doesn't stop anymore. Any ideas on what this can be? I've talked to a few people and some said that I may need a new fuel filter. Some said that my computer simply needs to be reset.

Any ideas/insight would be much appreciated. I'm a little tight on cash right now so I'm scared to take it into a mechanic.

Thanks again!

Daniel: Got an AutoZone close by you? As I think you need the computer coded and they would do that for free. The computer controls everything in that car, as well as the lean or rich for the engine to run right. It could be that your car has a sensor that is getting weak, or something else but the computer should know what is going on and show it up on a print out for you. A fuel filter shouldn't be to costly for you. But right now try the computer. And see if that shows you anything. Hope this helps you and God bless: Linda
