Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 Eclipse GT automatic tranmission, shift linkage, eclipse gt

My eclipse shifts fine into reverse when the car is cold but after driving the car for a while, a shift into reverse bangs and makes the car jump.  Any ideas?  Thank you, Dave.

This may be as simple as lack of fluid/dirty fluid or your shift linkage needs adjustment.  I recommend you take your car to a transmission shop to have your fluid and filter replaced and have the linkage inspected and adjusted if necessary.
