Mitsubishi Repair: fuel problem 2000 eclipse spider 3.0 auto, fuel pump relay, haynes manual

2000 eclipse spider-3.0-atou trans. The fuel pump shorted out and in doing so,there is no longer 12v even going to the pump.Blow fuse right? What and where is this fuse?All fuses check good except this one I can"t find.The Haynes manual is no(NO)help.So I move onto the relays.All 3 relays check out fine. However the fuel pump relay is not getting power to energize it.Where is the fuse? or where does the power source to energize that relay come from? Once again the book is NO help.Mayday,Mayday,Mayday.

There's typically a fusible link that is tied into the fuel pump.  This may either be the Ignition fusible link or the MPI fusible link (I believe located near or on the positive battery cable).  Check those fuses and replace if necessary.
