Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 mitsibushi galant, mitsibushi, diagnostic check

Question
I'm having a misfiring issue. I changed my plugs and replaced the number one & two wires a few weeks ago, but today my car wouldn't stay started on about five tries. During this process it sounded like air was being released from under the hood towards the dashboard, but after the car remanded started it went away. The diagnostic check from Auto Zone show an intermittent misfire still and the check engine light is on. Can you tell me what should I check regarding the misfiring issue?

Answer
Lawrence,
There are a number of things that can cause misfires.  You may have a bad ignition coil, a problem with the compression in the cylinder, or even a sticky fuel injector and computer misread.  The best thing would be to have a mechanic inspect all these things for further diagnosis.
Good luck!
