Mitsubishi Repair: FTO - Heater/Air Con problem, coolant level, hoilday

Hi Linda, I hope you enjoyed your Hoilday. I have a major problem with my 1995 FTO Mivec GPX. Basically when the car is warm, a lot of vapour is pouring out of the heater vents causeing the windows to dangerously mist up, this gets much worse if the fans are actually turned on. I took a look at the coolant level and noticed the liquid was a rusty brown colour, I topped it up but it's not made any difference. Can you help?

Well hey Danny, no holiday here. I was sick. You should have the whole system in your  car replaced and flushed. Sounds like to me you have a leak someplace too. In that you best get the car into a shop to have this checked out, the shop would have to do the flushing. You should do this on your car's system every two years. The rusty brown color is not a good color to be having there either. Oh hey also that vapour is not good for your health either. So get this taken care of soon. Don't want you to get sick.
