Mitsubishi Repair: mitsubishi eclips, mitsubishi eclipse, bad computer

ok so here it is i have a 1990 Mitsubishi eclipse turbo awd 2l and i changed the head and it was board out 2 over with new pistons all new gaskets and it was running fine before but now when i sty to start it it takes a really long time to start and when it finally does it runs like its starving or being flooded, i also put new valves as well and i was wondering if the ends might need to be shaved a bit cus maybe there staying open? i don't no but i checked the timing  and the fuel pump the injectors, the intake is new as well. if have anything that would be great thanks.

Matt: Have you ever had this car coded? As to check the computer and all the sensors through out the engine? It sounds like a sensor problem to me. Or maybe even the computer might be bad, your car is the right year for those bad computers. Mitsubishi farmed out the building of their computers to another company and they did not build very good ones. A piece will start to leak into the computer and with time it will kill off the computer. Now it might be the overhaul you had done but it might be a bad computer too. So have the car coded to see if anything is kicked out at you. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
