Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Galant ES 2000 start problems, mitsubishi galant, full tank

Question
The car won't start. I put in new battery. It has almost full tank of gas. The starter is working (it's moving some belts...). Need help! Where do I look if the engine gets fuel? What else could be wrong? It stopped while running in reverse, trying to get out of a parking lot. Thanks! If anyone knows what's wrong, please help! I live in Sacramento, CA. Thanks in advance!

Answer
Mihai,
There are a number of things that can cause your problem.  The 3 most common systems that cause starting problems are air, fuel, and ignition.  Those 3 systems consists of many areas of the engine and the list would be too long for me to display.  I would highly recommend you have your car brought to a mechanic to do some hands-on diagnostics and should be able to pinpoint the cause of your problem.
Good luck!
