Mitsubishi Repair: 97 Mitsubishi Mirage DE, mitsubishi mirage, stop leak

every two or theree days i am losing at least a quart of oil, but the oil is not leaking on the ground, i had the front seals replaced and this did not slow the lead down at all, also there is some white or light blue smoke that comes out of the exhaust pipe, not while i'm driving (well not that i can see any) but if i am at a stop light and i press the gas POOF comes a big cloud of smoke. Please tell me what to do about the two problems i am having.

The first thing I would check is to see if the white smoke comes out more in the morning. If this is the case I would get the valve seals replaced. While car sits there then it leaks through the valves and your burning the oil out of the exhaust. This should take care of both problems.

If you need to wait until you can get the work done, I would go to your local parts store and buy lucas engine stop leak it is a blue label. This product works awesome. Put the bottle in and drive it for a week. In this week keep checking your oil, it will still come out until it seals it and it's going to take a week. After this it should be gone or help. Use this method until you can get it properly fixed. I hope this helps thanks again,Kevin.
