Mitsubishi Repair: Clunking in front end of 2002 Mitsubishi Galant, mitsubishi gallant, inner tie rod

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant, and it thunks loudly over large bumps.  I have
replaced the inner tie rod and ball joint, but to no avail.  I recently had the car
looked at, and the garage said the struts and springs are fine.  Any ideas what
else could be causing this?

Melanie: How about you have all the engine mounts checked, sometimes they will come loose or else the rub piece in them will wear out. You could have the whole car tires balanced, as something might be out of balance too. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
