Mitsubishi Repair: Help with LANCER 1989 engine, exact problem, car engine

Our car engine just wont start. we've replaced it with new battery and alternator. we're trying to look for a 'car electrician' but dont exactly know what or how to explain the exact problem. please help. thanks so much!

Hi, OK lets start from the beginning.

1. Does it make any noise while trying to start it? clicking noise?
2. does the motor turn over but not start? or does it do nothing when turning the key? Let me know this and I can help you further thanks again,Kevin
