Mitsubishi Repair: 03 Outlander keeps stalling, tps sensor, trouble code

Question
I have a 03 outlander. It started stalling about a week ago. My wife had the trouble code pulled and it was P0303, misfire in cylinder 3. I replaced the plugs, wires and coil packs and cleared the error. The problem still happens but now no error codes are showing up. It only stalls on low rpm's. when the throttle is goosed so to speak it seems to run fine. My thoughts are fuel pump, cam position sensor, or cat plugged. But without the computer giving me error codes I dont know where to start or how to narrrow this down without paying $100 for a professioanl diagnostic. Any ideas on where to start or how to check the diffrent systems?  Thanks......

Answer
If your not getting any error codes then I would start fuel pump.

Open you gas cap and put the key in the on position and listen to hear a (Whirring) Sound. If the noise is there it's fine if it is not then it needs to be replaced.

I would start small, Check you air filter, Fuel filter. Then if none of these I would then start looking at the MFI Fuel sensors. The MFI sensor does not show up on a check engine light, IT should but don't.

Also look at your TPS sensor maybe that is bad if it is staying at low idle.
The last thing if none of these work that's when I would start Looking at getting a compression test on the motor.
It's hard to diagnose anything without good experience might be cheaper just to pay the tech to find the problem instead of changing everything.
Hope this helps let me know Kevin
