Mitsubishi Repair: Heater A/C control knobs, control knobs, c button

I have a 2003 Lancer and recently my Heater A/C control knobs have been hard to turn and now only work on high or low, I have also noticed that my A/C button does not hold or work, is this something I can fix and how can I take the dash apart to see if a wire came lose?

The best thing to do is to go out to a local parts store and pick up the hynes book on your car. This book will give you a complete tear down of your car. This will show you how to take the dash apart the proper way. This might be the whole heater control module. But good thinking to see if maybe a cable or wire has came loose.
