Mitsubishi Repair: 99 diamante transmission, transmission shop, selling a car

I was driving and car jerked.  Lite showed can in N and check engine light came on.  It still drive but takes a while to pull of and doesn't sound like gears are changing.  I recently purchased this car used from a private seller what is problem.

Corey: I would have the transmission fluid and filter changed to see if that might help. Also put in a bit of transmission conditioner at the same time. One always wonders why another person is selling a car, sometimes we find out the hard way. But try the change of the fluid and filter, add the conditioner and see if that helps your problem. As long as the car is slow to shift the gears, it might be low on the fluid or just needs a new fluid as well as a filter. Have you checked the fluid? What color might it be? If a dark pink in color, good but still should be changed. If pink/brown not so good but the change would do wonders. But if the fluid is brown in color and smells burnt then you might have other problems. But still lets do that change to see if that will help. Other wise take the car to a transmission shop and see what they tell you. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
