Mitsubishi Repair: Intermitant starting, cylinder auto, little car

Question
Hello there Linda. My husband has tried to find the 'fault' in our '94 Magna Executive, 2.6 4 cylinder, auto motor car. The trouble is, it has a tendency to not start on occasion. It might start twenty, sometimes only three or four times, and then, bingo. It just turns over and it seems, as he thinks and says, "it looks as though it has not, or is not getting any 'spark'". He thinks it might be the ECU unit, or ignition coil or something kike that. Can you help us out please? Cheers Janice.

Answer
Janice: Have the car coded, as to check the computer and all the sensors through the car. Your car is the right year for the bad computers too. The computer might kick out what your problem is with the starting, but these little car has be tricky at times. Still try the coding and see what that will show you. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
