Mitsubishi Repair: Front Wheel Bearings, mitsubishi montero sport, front wheel bearings

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2WD 3.5 Engine that needs to have its front wheel bearings repacked or replaced. I  am having a mechanic friend help me but he has asked me to find a diagram of some sort as the hub assembly is unlike any other he has seen. Do you know anything about how to replace or repack the front wheel bearings?

Nicole: I would be checking with a dealership on your car, if you are needing to replace or repack the front wheel bearings there might be a recall on them. As your car is pretty new for something like this already. Also they might have the diagram for that, as I work mostly on much older cars. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
