Mitsubishi Repair: 93 talon 1.8 lack of power, fuel pump, eagle talon

i have a 93 eagle talon 1.8 non-turbo 5 speed manual 157,000 miles VIN--4E3CF34B6PEO29811 it lacks power has no codes new pgs wrs cap rtr pcv fuel&air fltrs to no avail i'm thinking the timing belt next. if it doesn't do the trick it's due anyway, but should i be surprised if it if it doesn't work, what's next to try????the manual has a LONG list what't 1st?

Milton: Have the fuel pump tested to make sure it putting out enough pressure for your car. You know don't you that the fuel keeps that fuel pump cool, if you run the car down to empty to much, with time you will cook the fuel pump. But there is a test to test to see how much pressure the fuel pump is putting out. If it is time to change the timing belt I would do that, but I don't think that is your problem with your car. Maybe a good tune up would be in order but check the pump. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
