Mitsubishi Repair: mitsubishi rvr 1994, electronic fuel injection, fuel consuption

my car is giving back fire and miss when racing. i tried to trace the problem from the fuel tank to electronic fuel injection. then i find out there is a problem in EFI, can you help me to get the options of repair. because it is taking more fuel consuption and is not moving properly.

Hassan: From my repair manual things to check... emission control system not functioning properly(if you had the car coded, it might show you the problem), ignition timing incorrect(have the car timed to see if that helps), needs a tune up(replace stark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor with new parts), fuel injection system in  need of adjustment or worn execessively(have to take the car to a shop to have this checked out), vacuum leaks(often hard to find but a shop again would be able to find the problem for you). So there are some ideas to check but I would do the tune up first and see if that helps your car. Sometimes we over look something so easy as a tune up for the harder things and the tune would just as easy fix the problem. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
