Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 Lancer-squeaking noise w/ acceleration, fan belt, acceleration

Hi,

I have a 2002 Lancer ES w/ about 70,000 miles.  Lately I've been hearing a squeaky noise from under the hood.  It sounds like it may be a fan belt.  However it only makes this noise when I am accelerating between 30 and 45 mph.  As soon as I let off the gas the noise stops and as soon as a push the pedal again it starts back up normally between the 30 and 45 mph.  

Do you know what may be causing this noise???

Mary: You need to get the belt checked on your car, it is loose or maybe the belt is bad so need to be replaced. But it would be the belt please don't put this off, because that belt could break and with weather not so good sometimes; you do not want to be stuck out on the road with a broken belt.
