Mitsubishi Repair: Engine dies while driving, mitsubishi eclipse, bad computer

I have a 95 mitsubishi Eclipse. I heat up the engine pretty well before i start driving. Still the engine cuts off itslef. Sometimes the engine cuts off while driving; does not depend how fast i am driving. Sometimes the engine cuts off even while standing.After the engine stops the check engine light flickers really fast. I am able to restart the car in 15 secs-2 mins.I got the new wires and spark plugs 5 days back. I am tired of this and its really risky because the steering as well the breaks lock up after the engine stops. Please help. Thank you

Kanwar: You need to have your car coded, to see what the computer is doing. As it is shutting off your car for some reason. It could be there is a bad sensor someplace, or even a bad computer. So find a shop, have them do a coding of your car's system. Explain to them what the car is doing. Hope this helps and Happy New Year: Linda
