Mitsubishi Repair: not sure, camshaft position, position sensors

Question
ok, so on my 95 eclipse 420 a n/t i havent got it to start for about 3 and a half months. i wasnt getting any spark or fuel, i changed my crank angle and camshaft position sensors, my fuel relay and mfi relay, fuel pump, and most recently the pcm. still i am getting the same exact thing, i also recently checked the power going to my relays and out of the  five female plugs i am getting the right power except for the middle one on both, i also heard from a buddie that if my timing was off then it would cause there to be no spark, but i dont know if it would make the relays do that, can you help?

Answer
Michael,
Your friend is correct.  If the timing is off, the PCM will prevent the spark and fuel from getting to the engine.  Bad timing can be caused by a worn belt, worn tensioner, and/or bad idler pulley.  If it's been more than 60,000 miles since your last timing belt change, I recommend you get it done.  The timing belts on these cars begin to stretch after that amount of time and your engine can get severely damaged if the completely breaks while driving.
Good luck!
