Mitsubishi Repair: My 1996 Galant-Battery keeps dying, galant, next morning

Hi..my 96 galant is in great woring shape however my battery, which is a new battery (1 year old) keeps dying. Almost like it looses a charge.  I get a boost and it runs fine all day as long as I drive it.  By the next morning it dies a gain. I noticed that it started when my driver's side power window stopped working.

Shephanie: Listen you need to get the alternator check as well as the belt that runs it. I would say the alternator is getting weak, it is what keeps the battery charged up. But then the alternator could be ok, but the belt is slipping or bad. So go to a shop and get this checked out. Or else you will kill off the new battery. Oh you should have that battery checked too, sometimes you just a get a bad one even new ones. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
