Mitsubishi Repair: 1994 Lancer GLCC, electrical issues, older cars

Question
I have a 1994 Lancer GLCC which up until now has had no major electrical issues, last week it decided that the 2 lowest fan settings wouldn't work. The fan runs only from 3(speed) up. I can feel the drain on the engine when I set the fan to 1 and turn on the air-con but alas no fan, can you help?

Answer
Steven: What you got to do, is replace the fan with a new one. With time these older cars, the fan motor wears out. So find a parts store, buy a repair manual for your car; it will walk you through replacing that fan motor, buy a new fan motor and it shouldn't be to bad of a job. Or else take the car to a shop and get them to do this for you. Once you get that new fan motor in, you will again have all the speeds. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
