Saab Repair: air compressor swap saab 9000 93, saab 9000, waterpump

help, two questions really. can you drive this car when the auxillary drive belt is of, just to get it home?. and can anyone help me with the proccess of installing a new compressor. the old one siezed and i have bought a new one on ebay, looks straightforward bolt of bolt on, but there is oil spilling out of the new one and i am not sure if this should be so or what to recharge it with or how.

Without a belt the waterpump and alternator don't turn. You can drive only briefly before  it starts to overheat. If you have never recharged a/c before I would not recommend that you attempt it. Repalce the compressor then take it to an experienceshop to recharge it
