Mitsubishi Repair: 86 pajero 2.6 sirius turbo petrol, european import, heat sensor

Question
g'day i have this petrol turbo 4cyl 2.6 pajero a warning light stays on looks like a heat sensor, some say it may be co2? sensor it could be a european import? is there a w/shop manual for this, regards alan

Answer
Alan: Are you in the states or someplace else? Here in the states you can get that car coded that would explain what that warning light is about. As the computer in your car has found a problem in the system. So it has kicked on that light. To find out if the co2 sensor is bad, would explain in this print out. Anyplace you might get that car coded? You can buy yourself a meter that would do this for you. Parts stores have those manuals around $20.00. If you are not in the states, you could order one off the net or hey try ebay they sell repair manuals for all kinds of car on that too. But either way you need to get that repair manual which would walk you through how to check to see what that light means. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
