Mitsubishi Repair: dome light 1995 mitsubishi, dome light, car door

Is the dome light suppose to come on when the door is opened and if not why.

Hey Jerry: Sure the bulb is not burnt out in the dome light? How about a turn off and on button, might be off. There is a button that when you open the car door will then turn on the light, sometimes it is stuck and not doing its job, the button I mean. Well there is some ideas to check, could be a wire has come off too. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
