Mitsubishi Repair: 1990 mighty max 2.4 head 4 speed manual, mitsubishi dealerships, salvage yards

My head cracked on my truck.  I am having trouble finding a replacement.  Are there different models and years I can use as a replacement.   Also are 2.4 and 2.0 interchangeable.  If you do not know where would a good place to search for answers?

Unfortunately, I know very little about the specifics of the Mighty Max trucks.  But posting a question here can be seen by many others, and they may be able to help.  Many local salvage yards have access to nationwide networks that can help track down compatible engines for your truck.  You may also have luck calling your local Mitsubishi dealerships and ask someone from the service or parts department if they can tell you of the compatible years and sizes of engines for your truck.
