Mitsubishi Repair: 1990 Mitsubishi Pickup 2.4L, crank sensor, mitsubishi pickup

Question
I have a 90 Mitsubishi Pickup 2.4L and my distributor and spark plugs are not firing.  If it is the computer that needs to be coded, how do I go about getting it coded.

Thanks,

Answer
David: Try doing a tune up, you know don't you that there is a crank sensor in the distributor of your pickup? You might try replacing the stark plugs, wires, distributor and rotor. I always say do the easy things first. If that does not fix your problem, then have the truck coded. You would need to find a shop to hook your truck's computer up to their shop's computer. And then the computer would kick out the problem. But I still wonder if a good old tune up would not fix your problem. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
