Mitsubishi Repair: Starter, haynes manuals, mitsubishi eclipse

Do you know of a guide on how to change the starter on a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the 3.0 V6 engine. I have already looked at it and I can't seem to get if off because there is something on top holding it and I can't get to it. I was wondering if you know where a guide online is or have a diagram of the starter. Because if I could visualize it that would help a lot.

Michael: Sorry don't know of a site on line for this. Other than you would put the year, model and starter replacement hunt and see what you come up with. You would go to a parts store and buy a repair manual for your car. It would have pictures and explain how do this repair. I like the Haynes manuals they do not have so many different engines in them. But then Chilton would be good too. Both will walk you through this only you will have get a repair manual not read it off line. Oh hey these repair manuals cost around $20.00 and well worth the money spent.
