Mitsubishi Repair: fuel pump relay, lancer ralliart, crank sensor

Question
My lancer ralliart won't start we test the fuel pump and it's ok i think the problem is the relay but i don't know the location of the relay can you help me please.

Answer
Pavel: In with the engine is 2 or 3 small black boxes, one over by the driver side of the car up by the firewall is one box. On the tops of the boxes it tells what is in them. Also over by the battery there should be two more such boxes, these boxes are full of relays and large fuses. How old is your car and could the problem that it is not starting the timing belt has broke? Does the engine turn over when you try to start the car, can you see the belts move well the drive belt? When is the last time you did a tune up on the car, you could try to take the distributor cap loose and turn it left or right to see if the car will then start. As there is a crank sensor is that distributor cap. But if the belts are not turning when you try to start the car, then your timing belt could be broken. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
